Genevieve De Wynter – Director
Genevieve is the founder of The Child and Family Therapeutic Practice. She is an experienced Systemic Family Psychotherapist who has worked with children, couples and families for the last 15 years. She has worked in an inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services setting within the NHS, where she worked with complex families facing mental, physical and emotional difficulties and with the charity Kids Inspire where she was the lead Family Therapist, specializing in working with children, adolescents and their families.
Genevieve is also a family mediator, working with children and their parents pre, during and post divorce proceedings. She is also an experienced Couple Therapist.
Genevieve initially trained as an Osteopath, Homeopath, Hypnotherapist and as a Master Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner.
Georgia Chataway
Georgia has worked with children, adolescents and their families for over 18 years as a senior leader in schools specialising in wellbeing, behaviour, welfare and safeguarding. She is trained as a systemic practitioner having studied at the Tavistock and Portman Foundation Trust and currently works with children and their families in school settings and also with individuals, couples and families at CFTP. Georgia works collaboratively with clients to establish an open, safe and authentic relationship as a foundation from which positive changes can evolve.
Maren Finizio
Maren’s training and practice is as a Systemic Family Practitioner and Relationship Therapist.
Maren has worked in an NHS outpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service setting and private practice for the past 8 years. Maren aims at working with clients to facilitate an understanding of their relationships with themselves, as individuals within a couple, their families and their wider personal, cultural and professional contexts.
Maren works with families, young people and couples and aims at building strong working relationships with her clients in a safe and confidential environment. Her work includes providing support for parents whose children go through the therapeutic process.
Maren holds a degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Cognitive Neuropsychology and has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Psychotherapy for Families and Couples at the Institute of Family Therapy.
Maren holds a Masters Degree in Relationship Therapy, qualifying her through The Relate Institute. She trained as a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP).
Isabel Da Silva
Isabel is an Integrative Child Psychotherapist. She holds a Masters degree in Integrative Child Psychotherapy from the Institute for the Arts in Therapy and Education. She has been working therapeutically with Children, Adolescents and families for seven years. Isabel has worked as a Psychotherapist in several London Primary schools, and alongside her private practice she currently works for the charity Place2Be as a Mental Health practitioner and School Project Manager in a primary school in Brent.
Isabel is experienced in working with children and Adolescents who have been diagnosed with ASD, ADD and ADHD. She also has experience supporting children with a wide range of different social and emotional difficulties including: behavioural issues, anxiety, anger, bereavement, phobias and eating disorders.
Isabel’s Integrative approach means that she is able to work flexibly and sensitively with the children she works with, drawing on different skills and techniques to suit the varying needs that children present with. Central to her personal philosophy is a strong belief that the essence of who we are is defined by our relationships and that these relationships shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us; therefore, it is through relationships/therapeutic relationships that growth and healing can occur.
